Chunghwa Telecom sponsors ‘2021 Pacific Championship Series’
1 July 2021, Taipei - Riot Games SEA, Carry Live Co. and Garena is delighted to announce Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) , as a new official sponsor of League of Legends tournament PCS (Pacific Championship Series).
CHT is a leading telecommunication service provider in Taiwan, offering services including fixed communication, mobile communication, broadband, internet services, big data, information security, cloud computing and IDC capabilities. CHT has supported the development of sports in Taiwan so long, the events they have sponsored also include amateur esports events. PCS is the first professional-level esports event sponsored by CHT.
Chunghwa Telecom indicates that they have been promoting the esports industry for so long. With the advantages and strengths of communication technology, we can integrate the esports-related industry chain to drive the growth of this region. They also hope to cultivate more outstanding esports players and let the PCS region shine internationally.
PCS is the largest professional esports event in Southern-east Asia regions, with teams coming from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
